In October 2023, Katie faced a new challenge when diagnosed with the genetic cancer mutation CDH1, leading to a battle with gastric stomach cancer and a full stomach removal. Undeterred, she launched a research fund for gastric stomach cancer under the banner of KT STRONG, with Dr. Vivian Strong leading the charge.

For over two decades, Katie has fostered strong relationships with clients spanning the Hamptons, NYC, and beyond. Her journey led her to The Agency in the Hamptons, where she represents industry luminaries. Joining The Agency in Bridgehampton in the summer of 2023, Katie contributes to one of the world's fastest-growing boutique brokerage brands, recognized as the Top Luxury Brokerage by Inman.
